While the State’s overall debt burden is expected to rise to ₹9,29,959.3 crore, the debt-to-GSDP ratio remains within the prescribed limits at 26.07%.
To provide women with greater economic security, the Budget introduced a 1% reduction in registration fees for immovable assets (including houses, plots, and agricultural lands) valued up to ₹10 lakh when registered in the name of women.
This measure will come into effect on April 1, 2025.
