3rd International Ayurveda Conference Held In Sao Paulo, Brazil

In November 2025,Dinesh Bhatia, Ambassador of India to Brazil, inaugurated the3rd International AyurvedaConference, jointly organized by the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC) and Conayur Sao Paulo (Conselho Nacional de Ayurveda), held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

  • The conference, held from November 14 to 15, 2025, marked the40 yearsof the practice of Ayurveda in Brazil.
  • Brazil is the first South American country to recognize Ayurveda.

About International Ayurveda Conference 2025:

Aim:The conference aimed at strengthening India-Brazil cooperation in traditional medicine and holistic health systems.

Theme:The 2025 edition was held under the theme titled“Diversity and Inclusion in

Ayurveda: Caring for Everybody and Every Being”.

Patronage:The event was held under the patronage of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).

Participants:The event brought together scholars, Ayurveda practitioners, integrative medicine experts, researchers, students, and health regulators from India, Brazil, and other Latin American countries.

Future Event:The World Health Organization(WHO)–Ministry of AYUSH(Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy) Global Summit on Traditional Medicine is scheduled to be held in New Delhi(Delhi) from 17–19 December 2025.
