1. Thrissur Pooram Festival - Firework Unit Explosion That Claimed Around 15 Lives
Thrissur Pooram is one of the most popular temple festivals in Kerala
It is held at the Thekkinkadu Maidanam of Vadakkunnathan Temple in the heart of the Thrissur district, every year in the Malayalam month of Medam (April-May).

About INS Kalpeni
It is a fast attack craft of the Indian Navy.
It belongs to a series of 10 Fleet Car Nicobar class Waterjet Fast Attack Craft (FAC) built by the Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE), Kolkata for the Indian Navy
It was commissioned into the Indian Navy on October 14, 2010.
The ship is named after Kalpeni Island in the Lakshadweep group of islands.
The ship is based at Kochi under the Southern Naval Command with the primary role of Coastal Surveillance and Defence.
It specialises in anti-smuggling, Vessel Boarding Search & Seizure as well as Search & Rescue operations
3. Abhilekh Patal - Official website of National Archives of India
The Abhilekh Patal, derived from the Sanskrit word 'Abhilekh' signifying records of ancient times, and 'Patal' representing a platform or a surface, is a digital repository thoughtfully curated by the National Archives of India (NAI).
This platform serves as a gateway to India's historical legacy, offering a treasure trove of meticulously preserved documents and records.
Significantly, the acronym 'PATAL' is also an embodiment of its purpose & 'Portal for Access to Archives & Learning'.
NAI is on a mission to digitize and bring its entire collection comprising of approximately 7 million records and 300 million pages on Abhilekh Pata
The NAI team has been converting the content of these digitized reference tools into a structured database and have so far created the metadata entries for approximately 3 million records
NAI has digitized and uploaded 15 million pages from the 300,000 records.
National Archives of India
The National Archives of India is the custodian of the records of enduring value of the Government of India. Established on 11 March 1891 at Calcutta
It is the biggest archival repository in South Asia
4.Government Launches Bharat Taxi, a Driver-Owned Ride-Hailing Initiative
Bharat Taxi is a government-backed, cooperative-based ride-hailing app designed to compete with Ola/Uber.

Focused on driver welfare, it features a zero-commission model for drivers (Sarathis), resulting in lower fares.
It provides taxi, auto, and bike services, aiming for nationwide expansion within three years.
Driver-Owned Model: Operated by Sahkar Taxi Cooperative Limited, Bharat Taxi operates on a cooperative model where drivers are partners rather than contractors.
Zero Commission & No Surge: Drivers keep 100% of the fare, and the platform plans to avoid surge pricing
concept of 'Sarathi Didi' (lady driver) has been envisioned in Bharat Taxi. The 'Sarathi Didi' facility of Bharat Taxi will make women Sarathis self-reliant and will ensure the safety of women passengers and Sarathis.
