BEL to manufacture RxT17 Hemodialysis machine

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) will manufacture a new dialysis machine called RxT17.

It is one of India’s first indigenously developed hemodialysis machines.

The machine is designed by Renalyx, while BEL will manufacture and distribute it.

What is a hemodialysis machine?

It is a medical device used for patients with kidney failure.

It removes waste and extra fluids from the blood when kidneys cannot do so.
