Dubai honoured an Indian-origin business enterprise, Uncle’s Shop Building Material Trading, with the prestigious Erth Dubai Award under the category of “Best Private Sector Entity.” The recognition highlights the long-standing contribution of the Indian business community to Dubai’s economic and social development.

The award was received by Deepak Bhatia, Managing Director of Uncle’s Shop Building Material Trading.
The honour was presented by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in the presence of Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
About the Enterprise:
Founded in 1922 by Uttamchand Bhatia, popularly known as “Vattra”.
Considered among the oldest Indian-origin business establishments in the UAE.
Currently managed by the fourth generation of the Bhatia family.
