EIL SIGNED MOU WITH NMDC ENERGY TO EXPLORE ONSHORE OIL AND GAS PROJECTS IN SAUDI ARABIA

In November 2025, Engineers India Limited (EIL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the administrative control of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP&NG), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NMDC Energy, a subsidiary of the United Arab Emirates(UAE)-based NMDC Group, aimed at bolstering cooperation in the execution of onshore projects in Saudi Arabia across key sectors including oil and gas processing, refineries, petrochemicals, pipelines, storage terminals and energy transition.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Vartika Shukla, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of EIL and Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NMDC Energy, on the sidelines of AbDhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference(ADIPEC) 2025, world’s largest oil and gas event, held in AbDhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Key Details of MoU:

Aim: To integrate EIL’s extensive engineering expertise with NMDC Energy’s robust execution capabilities with focus on innovation, sustainability and operational excellence.

Project Execution: The collaboration aims to execute onshore Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects across various oil and gas sectors in Saudi Arabia, leveraging NMDC’s fabrication facilities in Ras Al Khair, UAE and EIL’s design center in Al Khobar, UAE.
