About PMJVK:
- Type: Centrally Sponsored Scheme under the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
- Objective: Provide basic amenities and infrastructure in Minority Concentrated Areas (MCAs), including:
- Schools and hostels
- Health centers
- Community halls
- Drinking water and sanitation
- Skill development facilities
- Coverage: All districts meeting the minority population criteria.
- Eligibility: Areas where minority population exceeds 25% of total population within a 15 km radius.
Significance:
- Strengthens socio-economic development of minority communities.
