SHATAYU Dashboard Expands Caregiver Network for Senior Citizens Across India

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has expanded the SHATAYU (Senior Holistic Care Assistance and Training for Your Utility) Dashboard to strengthen caregiving services for senior citizens across India. Launched on 22 May 2026, the dashboard serves as a digital platform where trained geriatric caregivers can register themselves and connect with elderly citizens requiring professional care services. The Ministry also clarified that some technical glitches are being resolved and advised citizens not to rely on misleading social media posts regarding the platform.

The initiative aims to build an inclusive and age-responsive ecosystem for senior citizens by improving access to trained caregivers, promoting healthy ageing, and enhancing the quality of elder care services across the country.
