The Government of India has informed that 68 transmitters have been sanctioned under the Broadcasting Infrastructure and Network Development (BIND) Scheme to strengthen public broadcasting infrastructure across the country.

These transmitters aim to expand the reach of All India Radio (AIR) and improve access to radio services, especially in remote, border, and underserved areas, thereby enhancing information dissemination and connectivity.
