The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MoSJE) will launch the PM-AJAY Portal and AJAY Mobile App to strengthen the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojana (PM-AJAY). The initiative aims to fully digitize grassroots workflows and improve transparency, monitoring, and delivery of welfare services for Scheduled Caste (SC) communities.

Features of the PM-AJAY Portal:

The portal will act as a centralized digital platform for:

Monitoring scheme implementation

Tracking fund flow

Beneficiary management

Village Development Plans (VDPs)

Real-time reporting and inspections.

The dashboard will track development progress in:

More than 47,000 SC-majority villages

Over 40 lakh beneficiaries nationwide.

The portal and app will digitize all three components of PM-AJAY:

Adarsh Gram Component

Digital planning for SC-majority villages

Monitoring through 50 socio-economic indicators across 10 development domains.

Grant-in-Aid (GIA) Component

Skill development and livelihood support

Centralized Management Information System (MIS).

Hostel Component

Online submission and tracking of hostel construction and repair proposals for SC students.

About the AJAY Mobile App

Provides mobile-based access to scheme services

Enables:

Offline surveys

Geo-tagging

Real-time inspections

Beneficiary tracking

Photo uploads and monitoring.
