Core Concept: The GGI is the "fourth pillar" of China’s vision for a new world order, joining the Global Development (GDI), Security (GSI), and Civilization (GCI) initiatives.
Key Pillars of GGI:
Sovereign Equality: Opposing "hegemonism" and ensuring all countries have an equal say, regardless of size.
Multilateralism: Centering global governance around the UN, rather than "exclusive blocs" (like the Quad or NATO).
People-Centered Approach: Focusing on development, poverty reduction, and digital governance as the basis for human rights.
Strategic Intent: China is positioning itself as the leader of the Global South, advocating for a reform of the international financial architecture (IMF/World Bank) to reduce Western dominance.
