India has set a Guinness World Record for unfurling the largest national flag underwater at Radhanagar Beach in May 2026.
The achievement was officially verified by Guinness World Records adjudicator.

The record was achieved in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The tricolour measured approximately 60 m × 40 m.
It is the world’s largest underwater national flag.
The event took place at Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island).
Execution of the Event:
Around 200+ trained divers (approx. 223) participated.

The operation required high coordination and underwater precision.
