President Murmu Confers President's Police Colour on Sikkim Police

President Droupadi Murmconferred the prestigious President's Police Colour (Nishaan) upon the Sikkim Police at Gangtok. With this honour, Sikkim became the 15th state police force in India and the third state in the Northeast to receive this distinction.

The award recognizes exceptional service, bravery, professionalism, discipline, and dedication to duty.

Police personnel of the honoured force are authorized to wear a special emblem on the left sleeve of their uniform.
