The BHAVYA Portal has been launched as a unified digital platform for project submission, evaluation, monitoring and implementation of industrial parks under the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA).
Highlights:
BHAVYA stands for Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana.
The scheme has a total outlay of ₹33,660 crore.
It aims to develop 100 plug-and-play industrial parks across the country.
The BHAVYA Portal serves as a single-window digital platform for project submission, evaluation, monitoring and execution.
The scheme follows a competitive challenge-based model, under which States and Union Territories submit proposals for industrial parks.
Industrial parks will feature plug-and-play infrastructure, enabling industries to begin operations quickly.
Both greenfield and eligible brownfield industrial parks are covered under the scheme.
Land for the parks will be provided by State Governments, while the Centre will support infrastructure and connectivity development.
The scheme is expected to boost manufacturing, attract investments and create large-scale employment opportunities.
The implementation and monitoring of BHAVYA will be led by the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC).
