In November 2025,IndiaandDenmarkhave launched the ‘Indo-Danish Business Council(IDBC)’to enhance bilateral ties through innovation, investment, and sustainable development inCopenhagen, Denmark.

  • The Council was launched byManishPrabhat, Ambassador of India to Denmark, commemorating 75 years of diplomatic relations between India and Denmark.

AboutIndo-Danish Business Council (IDBC):

Aim:The IDBC aims to foster structured cooperation that drives strategic collaboration and accelerates business growth.

Expanding Partnership:The initiative builds on the India–Denmark Green Strategic Partnership, broadening collaboration into innovation, entrepreneurship, and knowledge sharing.

Focus Sector:Life Sciences, Deep Tech, Healthcare, Green Energy, Fintech, Venture Ecosystems and Sustainability.

Collaboration: The Council brings together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers to create opportunities in sectors advancing the global green and digital transition.

Leadership Structure:

Chairperson:Freddy Svane, former Danish Ambassador to India, leads IDBC in promoting sustainable growth and green international partnerships.

Co- Chairs:Sudhir Mishra,Founder of Trust Legal, andRajat Pandey,Copenhagen-based scientist and VC, serve as Co-Chairs of IDBC.
