India delivered an impressive performance at the Asian Under-23 Wrestling Championships held in Da Nang, Vietnam, winning a total of six medals, including one gold, two silver, and three bronze medals. Wrestler Sumit Dalal emerged as the star performer by clinching the gold medal in the Greco-Roman 63 kg category.

Sumit Dalal won the gold medal in the men’s Greco-Roman 63 kg event after defeating his opponent in the final and becoming India’s only gold medal winner in the Greco-Roman category at the championship. Apart from the gold medal, Indian wrestlers also secured two silver medals and three bronze medals across different weight categories, showcasing India’s growing strength in international wrestling competitions.
